Structure and Features of ZKF series vacuum auxiliary switch

The core components of the ZKF series switch are sealed as a whole to enhance reliability. The moving part, the rotor, is installed with permanent magnets and placed in the fixed plate. It does not produce friction with the fixed plate, so the shaft rotates lightly and flexibly, and there is no mechanical jam.
The head of the switch adopts a quick-acting mechanism. When the shaft rotates to 75°, the movable puller drives the rotor to move quickly under the action of the energy storage spring and stays reliably at the end position. The terminal adopts a composite groove combination screw, and the wire pressing gasket automatically rises and falls with the tightening and loosening of the screw, which is convenient for wiring.

Compared with the F series mechanical contact auxiliary switches currently used in China, the ZKF series vacuum auxiliary switch has a series of advantages;

The contacts of the ZKF series switch work in a vacuum or inert gas medium, and no arc is generated under the specified current, ensuring good electrical contact reliability.
The components of the F series switch are relatively scattered, and they are frequently overhauled due to their own unreliability. The ZKF series switch seals the core component vacuum tube and the connecting copper sheet in the fixed plate with epoxy resin. One layer is a whole. Its high mechanical strength fundamentally eliminates the possibility of unreliable contact, thus eliminating the trouble of frequent maintenance.
3. Long life and strong anti-interference ability
The life of the vacuum tube of the ZKF series switch is 100,000 times of breaking capacity, which is much higher than the auxiliary switch of the mechanical contact; and the permanent magnet that controls the switch on and off is made of rare earth magnetic material neodymium iron boron, which has strong magnetism and never demagnetizes. The structure of the switch itself can effectively resist the interference of various magnetic and electric fields.
4. Strong adaptability,
The contacts of the ZKF series switch are sealed in the vacuum tube, which can ensure good on-off performance in dusty, humid and corrosive environments. On the contrary, the switch with mechanical contacts will soon have poor contact due to corrosion of the contacts in a corrosive environment.
Considering the need for users to replace old switches and adapt to the requirements of various installation occasions, the ZKF series vacuum switch considers different installation methods and rotation angles as well as different center height requirements. It can replace all F series auxiliary switches except the main auxiliary contacts of the circuit breaker.
