LW36-126 110kV 126kV Outdoor SF6 Circuit Breaker

The LW36-126/3150-40 Self-Energized High Voltage SF6 Circuit Breaker is an outdoor circuit breaker designed for high-voltage AC systems. It is ideal for use in electrical grids with a maximum voltage of 145kV and a rated frequency of 50Hz. This circuit breaker is used to interrupt rated currents, fault currents, or to switch circuits, providing essential control and protection for power systems. It is also suitable for use as a link breaker in network interconnections.

This product uses SF6 gas as both the arc extinguishing and insulating medium. It is equipped with the latest self-energized arc extinguishing technology and features a new spring-operated mechanism. The LW36-126/3150-40 offers long electrical life, low operation effort, low noise, and high reliability, making it the most reliable choice for high-altitude areas or 132kV power systems. It can also replace imported products of the same type.

Structural features
The circuit breaker adopts a three-phase porcelain column single-break structure. The three phases are equipped with a spring operating mechanism, which is centrally arranged and three-phase operated, so the appearance is novel and exquisite. The circuit breaker uses SF6 gas as the insulation and arc extinguishing medium. During operation, the three-pole SF6 gas of the circuit breaker is connected, and a pointer-type density relay is used to monitor its pressure and density progress. Due to the self-energy arc extinguishing principle and the optimized design in the circuit breaker movement system, the mechanical efficiency is effectively improved and the operating work is minimized;
Excellent breaking performance and long electrical life;
The mounting frame and support are made of high-quality steel plates that are bent as a whole. The surface treatment adopts hot-dip galvanizing process. All exposed fasteners are made of high-strength materials and hot-dip galvanized, or stainless steel standard parts. The mechanism box shell is made of stainless steel, so the product has excellent corrosion resistance; high mechanical reliability and can be operated frequently;
Due to the inherent high insulation strength of sulfur hexafluoride gas and the optimal contact movement of the circuit breaker, the circuit breaker breaks the capacitive current without reignition; the external insulation level is high, the external insulation is designed with a large creepage distance, the creepage ratio distance is ≥31mm/kV, and the dirt resistance performance is excellent. It can also operate safely in harsh environments;
Strong current carrying capacity: the temperature rise test is carried out according to 1.2 times the rated current of 3150A, that is, 3780A, and there is still a large margin for the temperature rise at each point;
The overall appearance of the product is compact, the on-site installation and commissioning are convenient, and the maintenance workload is small.

Applications:

Power Grid Protection: Widely used in 132kV or higher voltage power grids for protection and control.

Switching Operations: Suitable for circuit switching and as a link breaker in power system interconnections.

High-Altitude Usage: Ideal for use in high-altitude areas due to its robust design and advanced technology.

Environmental conditions for use
Normal environmental conditions for use meet the following requirements:
a) Ambient air temperature -25℃ (-40℃) ~ +40℃;
b) Altitude ≤2500m (2000m);
c) Wind speed ≤34m/s;
d) Daily temperature difference ≤25℃;
e) Sunshine intensity ≤1000W/m;
f) Earthquake resistance level Earthquake intensity 8 degrees (horizontal acceleration 0.2g, vertical acceleration 0.1g);
g) Ice thickness ≤10mm;
h) Air pollution level does not exceed level Ⅲ in GB/T 5582;
i) Installation location Outdoor.
