Description

LYHM4 medium voltage circuit breaker uses sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas as arc extinguishing and insulating medium. SF6 gas has smooth breaking characteristics, and there will be no interception phenomenon when breaking the current, and no operating overvoltage will occur. This excellent characteristic ensures that the circuit breaker has a long electrical life. And the impact on the equipment during operation, the dielectric level and thermal stress will not be affected.

LYHM series medium-voltage sf6 gas circuit breakers use sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) gas as arc extinguishing and insulating medium.
SF6 gas has smooth breaking characteristics, in which no cut-off phenomenon occurs when breaking current and no operational overvoltage is generated. This excellent characteristic ensures that the circuit breaker has a long electrical life. It has no impact on the shock, dielectric level or thermal stress of the equipment during operation.
The pole pole of the circuit breaker, i.e. the interrupter section, is a maintenance-free closed system for life. The sealing life is in accordance with IEC 62271-100 and CEI17-1.
The opening/closing process of LYHM series circuit breakers is carried out by REH type spring actuator.
The actuator and pole are fixed on the same metal frame, which also serves as a handcart that can be pushed in and out along the guide rails inside the switchgear, and the handcart movement can be operated when the cabinet door is closed.
The lightweight and compact construction of the circuit breaker ensures that it is robust and reliable.

 

SF6 Gas Circuit Breaker Applications
LYHM series circuit breakers are used for the control and protection of distribution lines, substations, distribution stations, motors, transformers and capacitor banks.
Due to the SF6 automatic buffer breaking technology, LYHM circuit breakers do not generate operational overvoltage, so they are very suitable for applications where the level of dielectric strength of the insulating material is particularly sensitive, especially for capacitive and inductive loads, such as capacitor banks, compensating reactors and motors.

 

Applying ambient Conditions:

1. Ambient temperature: -15℃~+40℃, the average temperature is not more than 35℃ in 24 hours
2. Height above sea level:≤1000m;
3. Relative humidity: the average humidity of a day should be no more than 95%; the average humidity of a month should be no more than 90%;
4. Saturated vapor pressure: the average pressure of a day should be no more than 2. 2kPa, the average humidity of a month should be no more than l.8kPa;
5. Environmental conditions: It should be installed in the places without dust, smoke, chemical erosion, combustible gas and saline fume pollution.
